Got the new Ben folds album the other day and I'm in love.
it's one of those nifty double sided discs, one side audio one side dvd, so on the back they've got a few videos and a making of thing, it's quite fun. I'm watching it right now. and i'm gonna stop writing so i can keep watching.
Observe one David Katzman,
on any normal day one can find Mr. Katzman riding the LA Metrolink from the rundown city of lancaster to the rich Santa Clarita Valley where he works as an after school counsellor.
David finds the morning train ride quite enjoyable, it affords him the oppurtunity for quiet contemplation, reading, and writing. Added benefits are the Lions that can reguarly be spotted along with the ocasional elephant and giraffe. There are many chances to meet people on the train, one such person with whom David has recently conversed is a middle aged homeless man named Mike who has been in and out of jail for most of his life and is currently pursuing a degree in fire science. Mike hopes to one day obtain gainfull employment with the forestry department.
One of Mr. Katzman's greatest frustrations on his daily ride is having to use the onboard bathroom. the bathrooms on the train contain a tiny toilet surrounded by several rails so that one might keep his ballance. the train allows for a very bumpy ride and corectly using the facilities provided can lead into quite an ordeal.
Mr. Katzman arives at the Newhall train station and leaves the train, he walks down the platform exchanges pleasentries with one of the security guards with whom he is aquainted and makes his way towards the daycare site at which he works.
We now see Mr. Katzman sitting at a computer and typing rapidly... he pauses for thought...
Mr. Katzman stirs into his seat and decides to read some more of his book before he begins work... we will leave him here but will come back to his story at a later time in order to catch up on his ever developing story.
I went to get a bank acount today, it didn't work out.
then i went nextdoor to get my measurements for a tuxedo for my bas.tard old roommates wedding.
i then decided that coffee was more important to my state of being today than eating was so i went to starbucks instead of mcdonalds for lunch.
then i went to work.
work is nice because i'm not able to think about thinks like my bas.tard roommate getting married or not being able to open a bank acount because of overdue loan payments and not being able to pay off those loans because i can't get a bank acount...
everyones getting married. i know at least 5-6 people getting married this summer, i have a friend who just had a kid, this shouldn't be happening! i'm only 20! i should have years to go before i have to be a groomsman...
